Update: Our good friend Isabelle let me know that there is no need to ask for a locker, as most are coin operated. So all you would need to ask is
Je voudrais une entrée adulte (zhuh voo dray oon ahn tray ah duhlt) I would like an adult ticket
or
je voudrais une entrée enfant. (zhuh voo dray oon ahn tray enfant) I would like a child's ticket

  1. Bonjour Roy, in France, no need to ask for a locker while at the swimming-pool, they are either free of charge or in certain places you have to put one euro or so inside the door knob so that the door will open.

So what you would rather want to ask is: Je voudrais une entrée adulte or je voudrais une entrée enfant.

  2. Merci Isabelle. I guess the books are a little behind the times for some of the info. It's always good to have your input as to what really goes on in France. Thanks as always. -Roy
