ReplyDeleteMerci beaucoup tout le monde. My girfriend took me out to the movies for my birthday & we saw Vicki Cristina Barcelona. Terrific movie. Well Woody Allen has made a couple of British Films, a Spanish one now, so it's time for him to do a French film, n'est-ce pas? -Roy

ReplyDeleteAs Woody's films go, I simply love "Annie Hall." Big Diane Keaton fan here! I can identify with Alfie too though who says late in this movie something to the effect of how he has a tough time being happy when he knows somewhere in the world somebody is not. Of course, he just can't get past this and it puts more than a damper on their relationship. Hey, am I rambling again?
Glad to hear about the movie, Roy. I've seen the previews and wasn't sure I would go or not. Always helps to hear a review from someone who seems to share similar interests. With two little girls at the home front, I get out only for gigging and don't have quite the time I used to have to get to a movie. I usually rent them and watch them at home. Recently, I've just re-watched some of my favorite French films based on Marcel Pagnol's books.
