    Hi Roy,
    Adjectives always agree with the subject, so it should be:

    She is shorter than I = elle est moins grandE que moi

    They are smarter than us = ils sont plus intelligentS que nous

    Thanks Isabelle, I didn't have those in the book, I tried to do those myself.
