Don't & Never

Usually when you want to say "do not" or "does not" you put "ne" in front of the verb, and "pas" after it. When you want to say "never" you use the "ne" in front of the verb, but you use "jamais" after it instead of "pas".

il ne parle à personne (eel neh pahrl ah pehr sohn) -he doesn't speak to anyone (the "pas" is not needed here-thanks Auri for the help)
il ne parle jamais à personne (eel neh pahrl zhah amy ah pehr sohn) -he never speaks to anyone

Je n'aime pas étudier (zhuh nehm pahz ay too dee ay) -I don't like to study
Je n'aime jamais étudier (zhuh nehm zhah may ay too dee ay) -I never like to study

Je ne mange pas au restaurant (zhuh neh mahnzh pah oh rehs toh rahn) -I don't eat at the restaurant
Je ne mange jamais au restaurant (zhuh neh mahnzh zhah may oh rehs toh rahn) -I don't eat at the restaurant

Nous n'allons jamais à la plage le samedi (noo nah lohn zhah mayz ah lah plahzh leh sahm dee) -We never go to the beach on Saturdays
Nous n'allons pas à la plage le samedi (noo nah lohn pahz ah lah plahzh leh sahm dee) -We never go to the beach on Saturdays
