If someone is giving you directions they may say:
tourner à gauche (tour nay ah gohsh) - turn left
tourner à droite (tour nay a dwaht) - turn right
aller tout droit (ahl lay too dwah) - go straight
Repeat these phrases all day long, till you know them by heart.
