Near & Far

c'est loin (say loh wah) -it is far
ce n'est pas loin (seh nay pah loh wah) -it is not far, it is near

c'est loin d'ici (say loh wah dee see) -it is far from here

c’est près d’ici (say preh dee see) -it is near here.
c’est tout près d’ici (say too preh dee see) -it is very near here

pas loin (pah loh wah) -not far
c'est trop loin (say troh loh wah) -It is too far

The easy way of making a question out of these sentences when speaking is just by raising you voice at the end to make it a question.

c'est loin? Is it far?
c’est près d’ici? Is it near here?
