Etes-vous marié (eht voo mah ree yay) -Are you married? (to a man)
Etes-vous mariée (eht voo mah ree yay) -Are you married (to a woman)
Oui, Je suis marié (wee zhuh swee mah ree yay) Yes, I am married
Non, je ne suis pas marié (noe, zhuh neh swee pah mah ree yay) -No I am not married
Non, je suis célibataire (noe, zhuh swee say lee bah tare) - No, I am single
