"Peu" -a little

The word for "a little" (refering to an amount of something) is "peu" (puh) You are saying this word with a very short "puh" sound. 

un peu (uhn puh) -a little

très peu (treh puh) -very little

c'est trop peu (say troh puh) -it's too little

encore un peu (ahn kore uhn puh) - a little more

un tout petit peu (uhn too peh tee puh) - a very little bit
