On The Train

When traveling by train, here are some phrases to help you:

Je voudrais un billet pour le train à ... (zhuh voo dray ohn bee yay pore leh trahn ah...) - I would like a ticket for the train to...
Quand est-ce que le prochain train part? (kahn ess kah leh pro shane trahn par) - When does the next train leave?
Aller seulement ou aller retour (ah lay sool leh mahn ooh ah lay reh tore) -One way or round trip
Sortie (sore tee) - Exit
Excusez-moi, la place est libre? (ex cuse zay mwah, lah plahce ay lee bruh) Excuse me, is this seat free?
où sommes-nous? (ooh some noo) - Where are we?

  1. Some corrections:
    Not
"Je voudrais un billet pour le train à ..."
    but
"Je voudrais un billet (de train) pour ..."

    Not
"Quand est-ce que le prochain train part? "
    but
    "Quand part le prochain train?"
    if you say
""Quand est-ce que le prochain train part? " that means you are surprised
    so it's
"Mais alors, quand est-ce que le prochain train part!!!!! "

    Not
"Aller seulement ou aller retour" but
    "Aller simple ou aller retour"

    sincerely
    Joel
