It's our 1 Year Anniversay!

I started this blog 1 year ago, it was just a whim. I posted some french words and phrases in the hope that I would learn a little French day after day. I can safely say that after this year I definately know a lot more than I did last year, probably enough to be able to stumble around France with, but still nowhere being even close to fluent. That I realise will take a loooooonnnnng time. So I have to say this little experiment I started has been a sucess with me, & if it has helped the few others who log into this site everyday, then it's all been very worthwhile. A very special MERCI! to Isabelle, who has helped keep my numerous mistakes from messing up our learning, and helped me keep this blog as accurate as possible. Her voluntary assistance has been an unexpected and pleasant addition to my site.

So as we appraoch year two in this "experiment", I encourage everyone to still have fun with this site, ignore the crazy looks from people when you walk around repeating words and phrases I have posted each day, and good luck to us all in learning more French in the upcoming year.
